Fellowship and Training

FAT is ES' fully sick, rad, wicked, awesome Semester 2 program.

To break it down, it's a phat 2 hours of:

  • a fully sick training program to help you think about life and evangelism on campus
  • eating wicked food and hanging out with some rad ESers
  • sharing and praying in awesome prayer triplets

In 2009 we're offering the following training courses...

Two Ways to Live
What is the gospel? How would you explain it to a non-Christian? Two Ways to Live is a course designed to help you to understand the basics of what you believe so you can confidently share the truth of the gospel with your friends. NB. If you have never done Two Ways to Live before this is the course for you!

The Blueprint
‘Doctrine’ probably isn’t a word that gets too many people excited. But some of the things that we accept today as ‘obvious’ Biblical truths have become that way only because of past theologians who devoted their lives – and often their deaths – to standing up for the gospel against false teachers. So what do you believe? And why? The Blueprint is a course based on the AFES Doctrinal Basis, to which ES holds. Come along to this course and investigate some of the key Biblical truths of our faith.

Reading the Bible with Non-Christians
Imagine yourself sitting down, reading a gospel, and explaining what it means to one of your non-Christian friends. How realistic is that for you, given the current relationships that you’re in? What would it take to make it happen? This course is about getting in deeper in conversation with people who don’t know the gospel, talking about the way that they view the world and think about life, and making real connections from there to Jesus, the word of life.

Your FAT course can be done in one of the following timeslots: Tuesday 3-5pm, Wednesday 4-6pm or Thursday 4-6pm.
